PALAZZO is Europe’s most successful dinner show with five venues in Germany and Austria. PALAZZO connects people with each other through the blend of haute cuisine, artistry, music and comedy.

During the spectacle, the whole spiegel tent, with a capacity of up to 380 spectators, merges into a stage for the artists. Each PALAZZO-site has its own unique show that is performed on 5-6 evenings per week from early November to beginning/middle of March. During the season, occasionally, also special events like cooperate events or conventions etc. take place. No matter if special event or regular shows: Light and sound are essential elements for a unique spectators’ experience. Therefore, PALAZZO is looking for reliable light and sound operators, who are keen to this special form of live entertainment.

Light and Sound Operators

for our venues in Berlin, Nuremberg, Stuttgart and Vienna from beginning of November 2022 on or by arrangement.

Information on Working Days and Schedule etc.

• Usually, one show lasts ca. 3.5 hours.
• Core working days: 5-6 days/week or by arrangement.
• Core working hours: from 4:00pm (Sundays 3.00pm) till ca. 12:00am (Sundays ca. 11:00pm).
• The job begins with the assembly of light and sound equipment during the set-up period, followed by the show creation and the regular season from November to March. The contractual period ends two days after the derniere, after the dismantling of the relevant technical equipment.
• During the season, the light and sound operator is the only specialist for show technology on-site and is responsible for all safety measures, ensuring a safe working environment according to the event technology standards.
• Sound desk: Yamaha QL5 oder CL5.
• Lights desk: GrandMA2.
• Player (Sound): Ableton live! via MIDI from GrandMA2.
• Ableton live! also providing the SMPTE-timecode for timecode-shows in GrandMA2.
• Usage of own console is possible after prior consultation with our production department.
• Sound and light operators independently run the shows, ideally on all show days throughout the season or by prior agreement.
